Expectations of a Sweet Feet Ambassador

  • Understand and believe in the nutritional benefits of sweetpotatoes and the role they play in training and living a healthy lifestyle.
  • Actively spread the word about NC sweetpotatoes and help educate people who seek advice on health and nutrition.
  • Share knowledge on how NC sweetpotatoes are grown, and good horticulture practices that producers implement every day.
  • Take a short quiz to become a member of SWEET FEET which will help you to become familiar with key message points to share with others.

How does it work?

All team members are required to participate in a team meeting/conference call at least once per running season.  This allows the NCSPC staff to provide you with background on the sweet potato industry as well as nutrition tips you can share with fellow runners.

You will be provided with a Sweet Feet jersey for you to wear when running on behalf of the NCSPC.
